The first in-person annual meeting in three years took place in New Orleans and was a resounding success, especially for the History of Urology. The History Exhibit, Ins and Outs of Sexual Health, co-curated by Irwin Goldstein, MD, and Sue Goldstein, CCRC, CSE, was spectacular.

Didusch Center for Urologic History is indebted to AUA designers Jenn Kennedy, Ashleigh Kilgour and Zack Post for this eye-catching design. And we celebrate the workers at GES, who produced and built this (very complicated) exhibit.

W. Hardy Hendren III, MD (1926 - 2022)

On March 1, 2022, Dr. Hardy Hendren, one of the foremost pediatric surgeons in the world, died at age 96. “Hardy Hendren was always a first class gentleman whenever we met. He will be missed.”
